According to what I heard on WTOP on Jan. 6th, she had put in a request for the National Guard to be called out and the Pentagon said no. Hours later, Pence approved the request.

My understanding is that while DC officials were on the call, the official request came from Capitol authorities.

I didn't know that. I just remember hearing on the radio while I was running errands that a request had been made for the National Guard and the pentagon had refused. I thought, here we go, the civil war has begun.

As we have repeatedly told you, she called out the National Guard to meet the expected needs of the areas under her control. Her judgement proved accurate. I am not sure why you repeated ignore this point and insist on criticizing her for not taking actions to secure areas over which she did not have authority. Why are you not criticizing the mayor of Anchorage, Alaska who has the same amount of authority over Capitol Hill as Bowser?
