No they didn’t.

Yup covid outbreak

We played a Coppermine team today

The behavior of that coach was atrocious. Serious personality disorder.

We saw the second half of the Coppermine game this morning, and half-expected the coach to get tossed from the game for the way he was yelling at one of the refs.

The officiating of that game was shameful. The ref wiped out one of Arlington’s goals for no apparent season, gave kick-off to Coppermine anyway, and then refused to explain why.

That sounds like a ref who might think Tottenham is in the same elite company league as Man U, Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea because they are in first place nine match weeks into the season. (And I love them, and would point first to making the UCL final in 2019. But elite because they are in first place a little less than a quarter through the season? Cmon man.)

Do you know which app? ANd how they plan to do it? I would like to do it for our team

Ditto, please share. Our TM seems like a deer in headlights and completely doesn't seem willing to figure this out so we want to try to make it as easy as possible for him.

You’re aware that the team manager is not getting paid; was probably talked into doing the job by the coach; and was probably focused on tournament paperwork, missing medical waivers, mandatory tournament Covid Zooms, and doing his actual job (not to mention his family) this week, right? I also had to talk 4 different families off the ledge about participating in a tournament during a pandemic, even though I don’t think we should be playing in the first place. Sorry if some of us didn’t also get around to learning how to stream the matches for you. Because this isn’t supposed to be all about you, right? It’s for your kid? And what were you doing all week to help?

Reading comprehension is ESSENTIAL, just essential. "we want to try to make it as easy as possible for him". Our team is actually a very nice group of families whose kids have played together now for a few years. Everyone gets along, we coordinate camps together, we always help each other out when someone can't drive their kid or even take them for the weekend during a tournament and we socialize together (precovid). Our TM LOVES to be the team manager and has done it every single year. He eventually did say it was too hard for him to figure out and asked for help, and a bunch of us pitched in money to buy the equipment and someone else did the filming. But we didn't want to step on any toes or break any rules.

Sorry your team is so stressful. Wish all teams were like ours, we have each other's back.

Where are you reffing next? I'd like to come and watch.

Leaving the window open for one of these alleged winter leagues, but more likely one of the early tournaments in March.

"Alleged" lol!

Any updates from the morning games? We aren’t playing until the afternoon. Can parents watch from outside fenced areas or are they staying in cars? Our TM isn’t streaming but will provide updates throughout the games.

Yeah I’m watching my U16’s game from the car at my U13’s Hunt Country game.

Usually have to miss one kid and choose. This way can see both.
