Not everyone who “recovers” had an easy time.

Why do you say mild? I know several people who had mild symptoms like headache and malaise and recovered without issue. Like thousands of others.

I am very sorry about your friend. Everybody knows “somebody” but yet so many people have survived or had a truly mild case. Most people I know personally.
