I put his food bowl up on the counter because our elderly dog will eat it (and its bad for her kidneys). Upon seeing his bowl on the counter, he jumped up there, glared at me (as I said no from across the kitchen) and slammed it to the floor, causing the bowl to break. Then the dog came running to help with clean up.

The plumber had to come and look at a toilet. She hates strangers and just yelled at him the entire time he was in the bathroom. I tried to lock her in our bedroom but she yelled even louder and kept knocking stuff over.
I gave the plumber some treats to give to her and that seemed to pacify her for a bit, but now she's mad at me for inviting the strange man into her house.

So funny!! I don't blame you. FWIW, when I was a baby, our cat slept in my crib at the other end, on his own blanket. But I am Gen X so YMMV

I'm pregnant and we're putting the nursery together. Pretty sure the cat thinks that the crib is for him, and he does not like it when I pick him up to move him out. I don't want him getting in the habit of sleeping there because the baby is going to be here before we know it, and I don't want the cat mad at the baby for "stealing" his bed!

I have resorted to closing all the bathroom doors so that the TP rolls are not shredded to oblivion. Ever try to wipe your bum with a pile of shredded TP? It's not fun.
So, she reaches her paws under the door, rattling it at all hours, in protest. When we do let down our guard, she's in there like a ninja: quiet, quick. She can take down an entire roll in 5 seconds, flat.
