I drive a Prius prime. Most days I am all electric, but sometimes, the gas comes on if I have to do more than my commute. House is solar; so I am net carbon neutral to negative.

No, thank you. I prefer Fiat 500.
I’m a lady who drives an Escalade and a sports car, too. Hardly a T supporter. A guy who has one car and it’s a small car is a total turn off. At least at my age (40). And yes, men pick up for dates, still.
I assume the ladies replying that big cars are a turn off are much younger. My generation of women, hands down, likes a car that has some rumble and lots of power.
Are you currently dating at 40?
Not really since I’m married. But I speak from the experience of friends and what I look at - because I’m not blind!

Last year I drove a dented 2003 Toyota Corolla. This year I drive a Mercedes convertible. Same person! So, judging this seems dumb

Come on. After the first or second date, people no longer drive separately.
i have never been picked up for a date while dating in DC. We meet a the location via our own cars or Uber. Maybe this happens in the exburbs?
I dated in DC for years and always picked up my dates in my car. Drove a clunker old Buick for a while too. Was not a “screen” at first but realized it helped identify some thinking in some women. I later heard through the grapevine that when one of my “few date exes” (who frowned at my old brown car) realized where my wife and I now live, she was shocked. We always went to nice places and she was aware I had a decent apartment but the car, and perhaps me, did not seem to cut it for her. My friend who informed her of where I now live also let her know that he suspected I have been a multi-millionaire for X number of years (a slight exaggeration on the time frame) which lead her to do the math and realize I was far ahead financially of what she assumed when we went on those few dates.
Thank you car for helping me dodge a potential bullet!

Thats part of owning a Jeep.
Poster you're responding to. HARD AGREE. lol
We love our Jeep. Wish I got it sooner. So much fun. I wish we had an older Jeep as well so I wouldn't worry about off roading.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Ha!
