Beatrice is NOT an ugly name. Better than most of the names you hear! What is your beautiful name?

Another vote for Beatrice Anne.
Anne with the e makes it more in keeping with Beatrice.

My sib's middle name is spelled Laine and I've always loved it.
I like Lane, Laine, Tate...or Elizabeth, to be honest, even though some have said avoid three syllables.
What’s your name OP? Your maiden name? Of course, you won’t share with us....but I love the idea of two girls, both bearing names honoring their grandmothers, and aunts. Why not also honor their mom?![]()
OP here. My daughter’s first name is my grandmother’s name, and is also my middle name, so we kind of did that already. But I love the idea
And I think you said you're DD1's middle name is also a family name? Honestly, it would feel a little weird to me to double down with family names for my first child but then to have no family names for my second. Little Bea is going to wonder why she wasn't named for someone.
I'd go with a family name for Beatrice's middle name. I don't care for Dot or Dorothy, but in your shoes I'd do that rather than a random middle name.
OP here, I agree! it's why I'm now leaning toward Beatrice Anne or Beatrice Dot/Dorothy -- other family names we could use include Tess, Rosalyn and Kathryn. I guess I could also always make Beatrice the middle name, or shortened to Bea, but I love it as a first name.

We're torn on what to use for a middle name, though. Originally we had thought of using the name Jule (pronounced jewel, after his grandmother), but the initials BJ have always made me wary. Our last name starts with a C, two syllables and is fairly common. I like classic names and we're having trouble finding a middle name that goes well with Beatrice. Any ideas?
Any favrite family names? Grandma or mil or your mom? Or your maiden name?
I'm OP. Our first born daughter's first and middle names are both after her grandmothers, so she already took those names!
I also like Ann (or Anne). My husband likes the idea of using the middle name "Dot" after his grandmother, but we're both on the fence about that one.

Beatrice Ethel
Beatrice Myrtle
Beatrice Martha
Beatrice Edna
I have not laughed this hard in well, forever.
My grandmother was Ethel, and Edna was my 2nd grade teacher who just passed away in her 90s.
Just came up with a new one:
Beatrice Gertrude
