One of the girls' clubs that won their age group posted their "victory video" on Facebook showing all the girls in a giant, unmasked cluster hugging and high-fiving. I get that it's exciting to win in PKs but that is not exactly the best endorsement for the club's safety practices...

The only people who really have grounds to be upset are the kids (and parents of kids) at Doradus and other clubs where they work their asses off and pay the club and coach only to have game time snaked by DCU because DCU doesn't want to go out of its way to actually ensure that its academy members are afforded sufficient game time to develop.

They did not break any of the tournament rules.

It’s no secret SDOR club is a feeder organization for DCUnited. The rules broken are from a DCUnited perspective. If players are rostered for DCUnited players can’t play with any other clubs. SDOR clearly felt they would not do good in the tournament if they didn’t bring additional help as they lost Friday’s 1st game and the players in question had DCUnited training on Friday.

They should be disqualified from OBGC because DC United has (or maybe had) a policy against it? DA had rules/policies against it; maybe DC United dropped it? It’s not like anyone has been trying to hide the fact that these players have been rostered with Dorados. I’m not affiliated with them in anyway, but I guess sorry they took apart your kid’s ECNL team.

One u12 team played u12 and the other played u13. But the u12 team in u12 was in a lower bracket than the u11s? Who set this all up??

Their u13s were in the correct age group.
