I don't understand why the courts won't let her have a professional conservator. It seems like a family member would be fraught in the best of circumstances and can be easily avoided if the person doesn't want it

Disagree. I think Justin is a narcissist that used their breakup to move his solo career forward. I think that KFed is a user. I personally think the only one who loved her was Charlie Ebersol but I don’t think she loved him.

I think Justin did love her and took the break up hard. He was bitter, angry and used that to “get revenge” which happened to produce a hit song. Personally I think if she hadn’t cheated his career may have looked differently or took longer.

Yesterday Britney lost her appeal to have her father removed as the conservator of her estate and legal guardian. She also says she's afraid of him and won't perform as long as he's in this role.

Oh my. Poor Britney. She’s my teenage years, I’m the same age as her. So sad, I feel sorry for her. She’s definitely not well.

I think she was definitely abused by all her managers and people making money off of her career from such a young age. I remember reading an article about all these gross older men music industry execs profiting off of a sexed-up teenager. She was supposedly the hardest worker in the biz at one point. Very talented dancer from childhood.

Current boyfriend seems ok. She's better than she was.

Out of the two of them, he's the one with the relatively stable family home while she's walking around in workout clothes in a stupor all the time. My very good friend taught their kids in Calabasas. She said K Fed is an excellent father, very hands on and serious. Apparently he has several gigs (DJs, party appearances, companies). He has had basically full custody for a very long time. She said Britney was super nice and cared a lot about her kids, but a bit flighty.

Him being a good father doesn’t mean he isn’t also a manipulator and user of women. His track record wrt his romantic partners is that he is always moving on to whoever can provide him with more financial security. For awhile that was shar Jackson then when an opportunity presented itself with Britney it was her. No chance he didn’t realize her serious mental illness before they had two kids together. Also when he sought a child support modification from Britney he said that his annual income was $10,000 so I really can’t imagine he was working that much at all.

Someone actually released voicemails of her calling a lawyer asking for help because her father is keeping the kids from her. It’s all very sad

There’s no win-win here. She can’t care for herself and she struggled to adjust to life outside of fame. She will need someone to be around to care for her and a “career” to keep her busy. She knows no other life than the one she was brought up in within Hollywood. Medication wise she likely needs it to make it day to day - she’s been on it for so long now. Her sons seem to see very little of her when Jayden shared on IG or TikTok that time, which depending on how you look at it could be for better or worse. Her father was old and ill and she has been used by handlers time and time again.

In what way could she win? How would she be able to survive on her own?

I think it’s alarming that her lawyer used that term and likened her (intellectual, physical whatever) state to that of a comatose patient. I’ve never heard a fellow attorney refer to a client that way. I have plenty of clients who know nothing about law, and I certainly don’t say they are like somebody in a coma when it comes to understanding the legal environment.
