I love my middle name and gave it to my daughter so I have a Paloma. She has always been the only one in her class. We are in California (formerly DC) and everyone knows how to pronounce it.

I like the soft P names better, they’re more mellifluous. Like, I prefer the Phyllis/Phoebe/Phaedra names over the Paula/Petra/Padma options.
