I buy their beans and other dry goods and will continue doing so.
Their products are more expensive than other brands. Not Latinx myself, but we purchase and eat a fair amount of Goya products. We will now avoid.

Spending money on things you never use to own the libz!!!

Because you assume Trump voters don’t eat ethnic foods? Wow, that’s some bubble you’ve insulated yourself in.
Many Trumpsters in middle America think Taco Bell is "real ethnic food".
No, I don't think most middle America Trumpsters have ever bought Goya foods.

I am continuously amazed at how clueless people here are about the world outside of the blue bubbles. You do realize that their are tons of Latinos in red states.
Many are illegal immigrants who work on farms; some probably work in restaurants, cleaning the table for you, cooking your food. From what I understand, Trump and Trumpsters want them to leave. I wonder if Trumpsters leave tips, or write on the checks "go back to you where you came from".
You are projecting your own ugly thoughts into other people’s heads. People who live in red states aren’t cartoon characters.
You also have a romanticized view of Latinos in the US (typical of UMC white liberals). For example, in Florida, most Latinos are middle class (not just the Cubans) and most of them don’t like illegal immigration anymore than anglos.

I LOVE their canned beans, and for the first time, I looked at their other products. Came home with Goya olive oil and some spices.
I plan to continue to do so and will probably make a large purchase later in the week and donate to a food pantry.
Does anyone need a recipe?
Somebody's a little too excited about canned goods. Your exuberance is not going to do Trump any good, and you'll last about as long at this as the average Trumper did fighting Covid.
Well, just for the record I'm a trained chef and I do home cooking, meals and cooking classes for the disadvantaged, kids and the elderly. So yes, I talk to them often about the nutritional value of canned beans, which is a shelf-stable product that is inexpensive and healthy for them to eat.
Only now, I will be firmly endorsing the Goya brand and telling them to look for Goya products, specifically.
If any of this is true, why are you pushing high sodium products to groups that are at risk for hypertension? If you must flog products, the dried beans are low in sodium and cheaper per serving.
PP, please try to keep up. If you'd read the entire discussion instead of just jumping in with your oh-so-helpful comment, you'd know that this chef explains that the canned beans should be rinsed thoroughly. And that that removes 80 percent of the sodium. I learned something; perhaps you could too.

You'd be surprised. I leave generous tips if the service is decent. (It usually is.) I have a couple of Dem friends that I go to lunch with from time to time. (I go with them separately, they do not know each other.) Both are in similar financial circumstances as I am. Both stick to 15%. One of them even has a little card that helps her figure out the 15%. I go for at least 20% --never less.
+1. I've noticed the same thing. In my view, it's because most of my D friends are "Karens" who expect everything to be just so in their little world, and like to control everything, including how much income other people get. My R friends are much more go-with-the-flow. "Hey she worked hard tonight, let's help her out."
And my Republican family leaves a dollar per person so the table no matter what they order. It's almost like anecdotes are meaningless.

So let’s get this straight, rich Lin Manuel Miranda wants to drive out of business a company that provides lots of jobs and access to nutritious low cost food to working class POC because his political views differs from the other half of the country?

Yes. Liberals boycott things like kids taking their balls and going home when they can't get their way.
Keurig was boycotted when they pulled their ads from Sean Hannity's show so I believe that was a boycott from the right, not the left.

+1 How many people in Trumplandia middle America have ever even heard of Goya before this blew up?
The fact that you’re even asking this is so very telling. My (white) family is from a tiny town in Idaho which is more than 50% Hispanic. Most of my parents’ close friends are of Mexican descent. Mexican food is par for the course there. But you go right ahead with your failed and ignorant assumptions of “middle America”.
And do people in this tiny town in ID support the 50% Hispanic population but yet still support Trump? I'm having a hard time marrying those ideals.
Why do you suppose that Trump's Hispanic support is less than half of what it is for Biden or Clinton, for that matter?

Ha. Watch the stock price soar. And watch for Goya products to be sold out, everywhere.
there is already talk of him being removed.
