No it isn't. Refusing to support a certain group due to their race is discrimination. Being aware that there are many types of people with businesses and making sure you equally support all of them is not discrimination. nobody has said, don't support Asian businesses. What they are saying is be aware of black owned businesses in your area and support them equally.

I’d agree with you, except that the Yelp filter literally discriminated against all business that aren’t black-owned. If it showed you all businesses fitting the search criteria, but then included a banner that was like “hey, support black business! We’ve put stars by those”! Then I think it would be less discriminatory. To be clear, I don’t have an issue with what Yelp is doing, I just think that it’s discrimination (by the literal sense of the word) in a moment when one minority group needs support.

Blamed, their incompetence on the delivery guy who just so happened to be black, and apparently a thief.

You would think that the big corporate guys, with the resources to hire/retain competent staff, would have been able to figure out how to get it right, but no. Just a bunch of incompetent idiots.
