The argument "you're against looting well why aren't you against cops killing innocent men" is beyond idiotic. I'm a POC. I am and can be pissed about both. Looting does absolutely no good. At best, it causes people to discount the cause. At worst, it causes injuries and deaths and provides more stories for people to use about the "angry , scary, dangerous, black man". And even worse, it's going to cause more police brutality.
Sorry, I don't support looting and riots. I don't think they accomplish anything to help the cause. I don't support willingly damaging someone's property. I don't support stealing someone's property. There are plenty of peaceful ways to protest and plenty of other ways to demonstrate a need for change.

Newsflash: Nobody supports looting and riots.
Spend some time online. There are plenty of people saying "you care more about storefronts than lives"

Both actions were wrong. Burning down that police department was stupid and criminal. This is why some people stop listening to protesters. They think burning a city down is ok. I’m white and I care very deeply about what happened to George Floyd and the many other black victims, but the scene that night was just a reason for some whites and blacks to commit criminal acts. It’s wrong. George Floyd’s family said it many times. I donate to gofundme accounts, like George’s to be helpful. But it sickens me to see cities destroyed when that just causes more division. Trump is to blame for the Lafayette shit show.
Are you being intentionally obtuse or are you this dense in real life? Protesters aren't the ones looting. Protesting and looting are not the same thing.
You cannot say, with certainty, that no protesters were looting. Grow up.
Would it make you feel better if we found that one protester was looting? Would that help justify your desire to stop listening to protesters altogether or wanting them to stop protesting altogether? If one politician is found to be corrupt should we dismantle our government altogether? If one doctor's bad behavior kills a patient should we close the entire hospital system down? Are you listening to yourself and your reasoning?

Do you show them the young white males breaking windows and stealing, too? Because I've seen plenty of that on the news and on my FB/Twitter feed, all over the country. When you see that, do you think less of white people?
I suppose racists will find what they are looking for, though.
The curfew doesn't stop looting. Police can still arrest looters. Maybe if they aren't busy harassing peaceful protesters, they'll have more personnel to maintain order in shopping areas.
Here's video of the Friendship Heights CVS looting:

Not a lot of white people there.
Yep, just like previous riots. Anyone who is over 40 isn't suprised by any of this. Everyone I know feels horribly for George Floyd, but the empathy pretty much stops there. This could have been a great cause.
