When I worked at a now closed bookstore in DC I did a lot of events and met, and even assisted, a lot of famous people. Here are the ones of the top of my head:

Al Gore- he was wonderfully pleasant and quite handsome.
Goldie Hawn- a diva with a lot of demands including a bouquet of peonies on the table and herbal tea, but still nice.
Jamie Lee Curtis- she was awesome. So low maintenance and friendly.
John Waters- a nutjob in a good way. Very nice.
Matt Dillon- he wasn't there for an event. Just came in to wander around and ended up buying a bunch of books. Handsome, killer smile, a flirt.

I saw Stacey Dash from Clueless at the HUD building. She was going to meet with Ben Carson lol.

I touched Kelly McGillis's elbow at a charity event once -- on a dare.

She's really tall.
