Agree, a call from the kids on Mother’s Day more than sufficient.

Husband looks like an over-leveraged crypto bro who probably got in hot water when the economy tanked. Combine that with a wife who's undergoing cancer treatment while you're going through that stress, and probably a mid-life crisis, and, yeah, it's not looking good.

The college aged daughter was supposedly away at college...even though all the campuses are shut down.

The father was 150 miles away in Denver.

Campuses are shut down but kids are still paying for their off campus housing, and need to get their belongings now that semester is over.

I think that Mother's Day would have been important to a person like Suzanne just based on the pictures that she posted of herself with her daughters and some of the comments that she has made about being a mom. My own impression was that the girls did not ignore their mother on Mother's Day and that they were likely trying to call her and maybe grew increasingly worried when they could not reach her. I wonder if they had possibly already celebrated Mother's Day together in person on a previous weekend or were possibly planning to celebrate it once the eldest daughter came home for the summer.

Whatever the situation was, I think that they had all, including Suzanne, agreed to not celebrate Mother's Day on that particular day. Families often choose to celebrate birthdays and even Christmas or Thanksgiving on alternative dates. That is not odd to me at all especially this year when simply finding a nice Mother's Day brunch at all was no easy task.

What is odd is that an attractive, fit 49 year old wife and mother with a beautiful home/family/life got on a bike to go for a ride and has not been seen or heard from since. I’ve been following this case on Websleuths. The police have not confirmed that Suzanne was even on a bike ride or even that she disappeared on Mother’s Day. They haven’t officially disclosed where the bike was found or it’s condition. They believe it’s a criminal case but have not put out any information on what she was wearing or asked for help from the public to help look for or keep an eye out for her. It almost seems like they already have a suspect in mind which could possibly be someone that knew her or a family member.
