3.5 year old takes a bath every day. This could mean anything from sitting in warm water and getting a quick face/neck/behind ears water scrub to getting a full shampoo and bubble bath.

But yeah, if we don’t shampoo every other day, he starts to smell a little.

The American Academy of Dermatology says at least 1-2 times a week.

And “disgusting” is a pretty strong word- no one but Americans shower every day!

Yes, it’s disgusting to not wash the sweaty bits and those parts that go to the bathroom. And I’m not sure why you’re proud to compare yourself to those that smell?

We have a bidet. So our bits and butts are clean. Showering every 2-3 days

Gross.

Regularly because its a fun activity that fills up the evening hours until bed or is a good diversion for playtime during the day. I just bring my iPad in the bathroom and they play while I do some emails

As soon as it's warmer they'll be back to every day. I really don't judge or care what other people do and think there's compelling reasons to use less water for showering. However, I don't like when my kids' hair starts to smell like hair, and the 7 yo already gets stinky pits if he goes too long without showering (I just got him started using native deo).

Wow. My 13 year old doesn’t smell, but hasn’t gone through puberty yet. No judgment, just surprise.

Same for DS4.

Do the same myself—Daily but maybe skip one low key day.

3 YO twins. Everyday, but it's just part of the routine and I think helps them get ready for bed.

I'm also one of those people who always take a shower at night (I'm Asian), so it just feels right for me to take a shower at the end of the day and before you get into your clean bed.

But if it's a hassle to you to bathe your kids everyday and they're not visibly dirty or sweaty, that seems totally fine.

People on this site are so gross. We and our child are bathing every day, as we normally would.
