Ouch! I’m assuming you’re overweight because overweight people think all thin people are Anorexic and if your mom calls you ugly well you’re pretty much ugly.

For me, the number and type of compliments (or insults) I receive is entirely dependent on my weight. Sad to say, but in my 20s I put on 40lbs and was able to walk through life as if I were invisible. After my dad died I lost so much weight that people started asking concerned questions. I was in my early 30s and the attention was unrelenting. I could have slept with a different guy (hot, wealthy, or both) every night of the week. And while I agree that my gay men friends were the most objective observers and complimenters, I also noticed that women became much, much meaner the thinner I got. To me, this is the surest sign that you are nice looking. (I generally get along very well with other women and it was never an issue when I was fat.)

In my 50s now and am back to being invisible again. It doesn't matter what I weigh anymore. 50 + thin or not thin = invisible (in general). And although I really enjoyed my 30s as a hottie and would not trade those memories for the world, I also really enjoy the freedom that comes with being 50 and not giving a sh*t.

Yeah, by my co-workers. Several of my students have told me the ESOL teachers gossip about my looks. I teach in a large county. Immigrant from a developing country.

LOL not sure how your meter works online but not to worried about it. One of the women who called me ugly was anorexic and the other was my mother. I've been called beautiful way more times than ugly. : )

I have a question. Where did some of you go to school that this kind of stuff was allowed in front of teachers. There was an ugliest girl superlative in your yearbook?? Wtf?
