I don't get the I cannot find one. You don't want to. That's ok, just stay so.
Thank you for posting these links. I didn't look at them since I don't have the budget for 3 computers now. But would you be kind enough to purchase these too and send it to my address for my 3 kids since I am not allowed to pick up a chromebook at school, considering my family is not poor.
We have other obligations that I do not feel like discussing with you, and do not want to buy 3 computers now, but since you are so so kind, I would appreciate it if you can buy us these.
Thank you for your consideration.
Exactly. People need to get off their high horses. You have no idea what people’s situations are.

DCUM user posting from an internet enabled computer: How do I get one!!!!???
To clarify, MCPS wants students to have a computer that they can complete their assignments on. That doesn’t include a phone that leaves home with Dad from 8 am to 6 pm or the work-issued laptop that mom telecommutes from 9 am to 5 pm.
So dad is working 10 hour days and mom has a job that gives her a laptop to telecommute, but the family hasn't thought about getting a computer before now? Really?
Not if they have kids in early elementary.
Your entitlement is showing.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Can you get your own or do you need to use the ones provided by the school?
I asked because the high schools only offered this on Thursday morning and I didn't get there on time
I would contact the school to see if they will be additional distributions.
You can use any computer with chrome installed. Apparently you’ll be able to use iPads. You don’t have to have a chrome book specifically let alone one from the school.

Anonymous wrote:Can someone recommend a chromebook for us to get for our kids? Our school is also giving them out but since we’re not in need, I feel bad taking them. But our kids don’t have devices or laptops yet either.
I have a 1st and 4th grader. Thanks.

But I'm guessing (?) that most students who don't have access to computers also won't have access to WiFi. Am I wrong about this? Are there solutions that I'm missing? Can most cell phones be used to tether to computers?
