sweet! Except for the chocolate covered strawberries. I don't know, but those things gross me out.

He did not say that. He might have actually mounted the pet cow for all we know.

Subject: What awesome thing did your spouse do for you on Valentine's Day?
DH sent 3 bouquets to the house -- 1 for me, 1 for teen, and 1 for my mom who was staying with us. ( Feb.15 was the 1 year anniversary of my dad's death) I was very touched that he did that without any prompting by me.

That was an asshole thing to say to him. So what are you doing to keep the romance alive?...wishing and criticizing?
Here's a hint: Your inlaws still have a good marriage because they don't do what you just did.
