Given the lies that have originated in the Bernie camp, I am convinced that Warren didn’t push the story. It came from within the Bernie camp.
So, you are saying that Bernie put out a negative story about himself when CNN has said at least 2 of the people that they got the story from were people whom Warren had talked to?
Who appears to be benefiting from it? Bernie. Who has been smeared disgustingly over it? Warren. I can go with Jeff’s theory, sure, but the link I posted is still more proof that Bernie enjoys playing really, really exceptionally dirty and then playing dumb about it.
Who could have denied it? Warren. Who has a history of fabrications to advance themselves? Warren.

But according to new reporting by The Intercept, Warren divulged her version of the December 2018 meeting to several political reporters during an off-the-record dinner not long after the two candidates met.

Will be interesting to see if it works.

The clip shared shows too people annoyed with each other. You think politicians do not yell at each other?
Mature people do not bicker on camera.

If not, I do not care.

She's a nasty piece of work with unworkable far-left policies. And people are actually considering her????
Bernie Bro projection. Bernie has no friends, no colleagues with whom he works and gets along with, nothing to show for his decades as a socialist and independent (though he’s not too proud to suckle at the teat of the DNC when he wants more visibility), and absolutely zero plans to accomplish anything.

I'm still making up my mind as to who is my first choice, and this behavior reminds me of Trump (refusing to shake hands, putting something inflammatory out there so he either agrees with her or is "calling her a liar.") Definitely not a good move for her.
I could see them having discussed something like who would be most electable, in private. I don't think whatever was discussed should be public record. That is, if Bernie said something honest like "I don't know if America is ready to elect its first woman president" I don't see any good reason to share that on stage at a debate.
I was already planning on voting for Warren, but this just solidified my support for her. We have no way of knowing who got the story into the press - she shared it with five people at the time it happened. She has no control over the debate or the questions asked, and quite honestly, women are damned if they do, damned if they don’t respond.
Bernie may well not think that’s what he said, or maybe didn’t mean it, but this is entirely correct “I hate to break hearts but how about neither Bernie or Warren are lying. His comment likely had a particular context, and she heard it in a particular way. This is literally how human interaction often works when people end up with misunderstandings.” (https://mobile.twitter.com/rabiasquared/status/1217299500089462784) I am so, so sick of seeing the vilest Sanders supporters - who have shown themselves to have serious problem with women - calling Warren every vile name in the book and then getting pissy that she’s not taking the attacks lying down.
