There are currently kids on the bus for an excessive amount of time. I don’t think that MCPS would make it worse.

Ha. It has nothing to do with school’s resources. It’s been proven over and over again. For example , in our area for a black failing schools they built a state of the art new building with fancy computer labs and fancy robotics lab, and hired more teachers. Guess what? They can’t get kids to come to those labs. There is maybe 1-2 people in the lab because they’re not interested. And the school is still failing. Because it starts at home. And there are so many examples like these.

Yes. My child attends Blair which is the closest high school to us but we are zoned for Einstein. We are also closer to Northwood than we are to Einstein.

Many out of boundary kids who attend Blair SMCS live closer to the school than we do and we're in boundary.


This is because the boundary of Blair are kind of cute. The school has quite extreme location.

Because while Blair moved locations, its boundaries, which were based on the old location, never changed. This is a prime example of a boundary that needs to be analyzed and perhaps adjusted. Way to back up the BOE’s argument.


We're zoned for Blair in South Western SS but are actually closer to BCC. One of my close friend's kids attend Walter Johnson but they're much closer to Wheaton. There are countless examples like this now.

Umm I hope that you don’t believe that wining a math competition is building America. Plenty of white kids and kids of other races have won competitions as well. You did not help build this country and you have never fought for the rights of any oppressed people in this country. I believe that 'winning international math competition' is all that matters to PP. And the entire point of 'winning international math competition' is to get into Harvard.
