I see stylish women wearing tall boots over jeans all the time. Have you considered DCUM could be stuck in its own parallel universe/alternate reality where only mom jeans and booties are in style?

I love those boots.I have the something similar from Frye that I wear to work and I get compliments all the time.

Let's face it. If you are fit and pretty ( not necessarily young) you can wear the dates and offending outfits and look more chic and stylish than someone who is wearing current/ cooler clothes but isn't either of those things. Basically a good body and good hair means you look good and polished in whatever. Fair or not
