Wait, how far up to high waisted jeans go? All these posts about jeans coming up to your boobs... I’m a shortie and I’m pretty sure my high rise jeans come up to my bellybutton or just below. I still have plenty of space between the jean top and the bottom of my boobs.

+1 same except I’m a zero because I’m short. I’m relieved that I no longer have to see women’s butt cracks and thongs now that super low rise jeans are out.

How long have you been asleep, Rip van Winkle? Whale tail and seriously low rise jeans have been gone for a while.

Around 3 years?
I was busy pregnant and having a kid. Back now!

They do look good on curvy girls.

I love high waisted jeans because they flatter my body (tall, slim, curvy).

That said, they are a uniquely horrible look on anyone who does not have a very proportionate hourglass figure. For women with protruding fupa, I mean, dear God, someone needs to pull them aside and say NO because they look just awful.

NP here. I love high-waist jeans and look good in them. My husband actually complimented me when I wore them for the first time. I am not overweight and I usually do a half-tuck so my butt does not look long. And I couldn't care less what (some) other women think.

And why are all jeans about 2 inches too short? Even the ones that technically aren't cropped?

They are fat girl jeans.
Note: one of the models is 5’10
And the other is plus sized. She actually looks the best. They are for her.

Nope they're not, those are normal sizes. Biggest ones are waist size 33. They are not "fat girl jeans", they are a perfect example of the monstrosities that folks in the thread have convinced themselves look good on them because the only alternative is ultra low riders from 10 years ago. It's quite comical.

Another thread full of folks who want to believe that the only alternatives to the ugly, unflattering high waisted crap are super low riders that show butt crack. This isn't true. Stop it.

I love how they don’t work on OP so she just blanket declares they dont work on anyone. A lot of us look really good in these.

It’s so hot when your front is just boobs and FUPA. Such a good look!

I’m 41 and have been wearing high waisted jeans for 3 years! I also like the cropped ankle length. They are comfortable and I feel good in them. I wear them with ankle boots in the winter and sneakers in the summer.

Long live this trend.

I am so glad everyone is making high rise jeans. I’m a 0 too, 5’ 4” around 110. Im not an hourglass... high rise gives me more shape. I usually wear shirts that cover a part or all my butt. Plus I do get a muffin TOP with mid rise and low rise jeans.

Have someone take a pic of your backside in your high waisted jeans. Look at it and swear you don't look like "mom" or a pregnant spider.[/quot

Pregnant spider, love it lol.

And agree, high rise jeans look worse on most people than properly fitting medium or low rise.

And I have an hourglass shape, I’m 5’7, 128 lbs- in theory according to previous posters, high rise would look good on me. They’re ok, but a lower rise looks great- why shoot for mediocre?
