I also don’t like how they threw so many current issues in the episode - too many loose plot lines. The weatherman’s plot line was just slapped together and him reuniting with his old girlfriend made no sense.
I would have really liked to have seen more development of the weatherman (I can’t spell him name), Daniel and Stella. There was too much on Aniston and too much back and forth between Bradley and her brother (and I say that as someone who has a sibling who’s an addict).
Overall I really liked it but the series tried too hard to tackle too many subplots and left some important ones just blowing in the breeze while hyper focusing on lame ones (like Aniston’s semi redemption, who cares, her character is very self absorbed and terrible, she does an excellent job playing that role well but we didn’t need an entire episode re her covid fever and some lame streaming special, I want to know if Daniel got his grandfather out of the facility in California, and how does Corey get fired, which was the beginning of the first episode)?
