Why would anyone read an autobiography of Demi Moore?

I just finished listening to her memoir, Inside Out, as an audiobook, which was really interesting. I feel like she's a little like Madonna - she's notable/notorious for some of her choices and we forget how big/influential she was.

I had forgotten how many major films she was in and how big of a star she was. About Last Night is still a favorite of mine, and listening to her memoir makes me want to go re-watch A Few Good Men, Indecent Proposal, maybe even The Seventh Sign. GI Jane, Striptease, Charlie's Angels.

I had forgotten how bad of a rap she had gotten for that pregnant Vanity Fair cover, and her book does a good job of highlighting a lot of the sexism she faced.

It's so weird to think of her and Ashton Kutcher together now, but it seems like they had a real love connection for many years.

JLo is 100x the star that Demi is. Demi’s career was basically done by the late 1990s. Her marriage to Kutcher bought her a few more years of relevance.

If he wrote a lurid tell-all book, filled with embarrassing personal stories about other celebrities, he probably would be. All famous people have dirt on other famous people. This is hardly an accomplishment.

People who write books like this are trash—especially people who are wealthy enough to have no excuse. Ashton may have been a jerk in his youth, but he’s moved on and apparently grown up. I hope Moore makes lots of money from this book because she will never work again for any reputable director of producer. How could anyone ever trust someone like her?

I don't really follow Kutcher and Kunis enough to know much, but I believe that people should be allowed to make mistakes in relationships during their youth then grow up and have nice lives. I doubt the veracity of Moore's stories, especially since she lied about Cryer.

Gross how? More like less popular than the older woman/younger man pairing. If a 30 year old woman can marry a 55 year old man and get high fives from his male peers than the same is fine if the genders are reversed. That aside, in her book Demi says Jon Cryer lost his virginity to her and he said on twitter that it was a lie, so assuming he is telling the truth it makes you wonder how much of the book is true. Doubt many will sue because they would have to share all kinds of personal details, that they may not want to, in order to prove it.

Not exactly a boldface lie. He said he was bad enough for her to think he was a virgin and that he was crushing on her.

It looked like Cryer was being extremely gallant and humorous in his response, but he still corrected her. Nowhere did he say he told her he was a virgin. She made that up on her own without confirmation - and published it. I have more pity than anything for Demi, but it looks like she wasn't truthful in her autobiography. I hope she finds some peace.
