I am truly trying to understand where the support is coming for politicians who do NOT support deporting illegal immigrant criminals. Where is the money coming from that continues to support such insane policy? The wealthy in MoCo must really, really be benefiting from allowing illegal immigrant criminals to flourish in the county. Agree 100%. It's only controversial to crazy leftists and socialists who want to import votes for their cause (if not allowing illegals to vote outright, counting on the kids they'll have who will end up becoming citizens because of birthright citizenship).

Crazy leftist socialist here! I am fine with deporting undocumented people who commit violent crimes. I was also fine with that approach under the Obama administration. What I don't like is the demonizing of all undocumented immigrants, or all immigrants. What I don't like is using the idea of "violent illegal criminals" to jump to bs statements like "half of all MCPS students are illegals." And I REALLY don't like faux outrage over (<10% of) rapes just to further this anti-immigrant hysteria. THAT'S the bs that needs to stop.

That's a lot for a week. I'm glad someone is shedding light on this, but I do wonder what's causing the victims to finally come forward?
Not sure that it's an issue of victims 'finally coming forward'. Like the other PP keeps saying. Rape happens a lot.
But, in MoCo, rapes by illegal immigrants are not usually widely covered by the news because it's not politically favored. Even these cases have not been widely publicized. Political pressure keeps them quiet.
