I got mine in my early 40s since we were done having kids by then. Of the 7 men in the doctor's office that day for surgery, I was the only one having it done -- the other 6 (all 50+) were having it reversed.

Well, you obviously didn’t learn from the experience. If your ex had a vasectomy, you would have been dealing with cheating instead of cheating AND a pregnancy.
