Here's what: I will take Burger King Lady over this OP 100% of the time.

Because at least Burger King Lady:
1) Isn't wishy-washy and pretending to ask for advice, then refusing to take it. She's 100% firm in her convictions and owns her choices.

2) She doesn't thinly veil her judgments. She thinks visitors who eat more than she does are right pigs, and she says so. This OP beats around the bush, but her judgment and observation and distaste for her relatives comes through loud and clear.

They are adults, they can work it out. Buy an amount you are comfortable with and they can order take out if they want more.

No one has asked you to hover over them hosting them all day. You are doing that yourself. You are making this choice.

I’d leave for the day. They can fend for themselves.

At a minimum I would have no drinks other than water in the house for starters.

They sound like overeaters who dont know different/grew up that way. I would have 2-3 meals and 2-3 snacks for that timeline. I wouldn’t let them roam free and feed.

I think food wise it’s about right for large young people for an entire day - that’s 3 meals plus snacks but that is a lot of soda per person. I would offer healthier drinks - water or maybe iced tea.

I am 180 and could easily put away 6 slices in one sitting then have more a few hours later. I'm overweight, I admit.
But you didn't get that big from drinking wAter and two slices of pizza for a meal.

Six slices of pizza would make me feel sick. I can eat almost an entire box of Wheat Thins in one day, but I would never pig out as a guest at someone's home.

OP here, I am estimating, I don't know his weight. He is large, so maybe he is more than that.

Some people are raised to believe that if there is any food leftover, you are not a good host. I get it.

And I would be embarrassed if someone asked for soda and we didn't have it. I buy hundred of dollars worth of alcohol when I have a couple over for dinner in case they want cognac, scotch etc.

The saddest part of this thread is that a poster is insinuating that there is something wrong with older counsins and younger cousins hanging out.

This is great IMO, my older cousins were mentors to me. I cherished those times. I feel it kept me on a good path. I feel this speaks volumes about both OP's kids and the nieces and nephews.

I have a niece who is too busy being cool to hang out with cousins, that's sad.
