I have plenty of friends kids that were cut that can play ten times better than majority of kids on the team. Deal has always been known to be highly competitive but that era has ended with the bad decisions of this coach.

There is a pretty big talent gap between top 20 kids and the rest of the kids. You could create a “B” team, but they’d likely lose most games which could be demoralizing.
Says who?
+1 Losing isn't demoralizing. Not getting to play at all is demoralizing.

And they shouldn't. If playing for a MS basketball team is that important to someone they can lottery for another school where there will be less competition.
What child doesn’t want to represent their school? Wether it’s sports, debate or whatever. PP must have a child that’s not engaged in extra curricular activities at school.
