+1 agree with all of these, but frankly it might be more difficult to name college campuses that are unattractive. There are so many that are beautiful in different ways.

I visited UNC a long time ago and thought it was beautiful. But the last time I was there I got the distinct impression it had been overbuilt. Someone mentioned Stanford earlier, and I got the same impression there. Obviously schools need to expand, but it can come at a price.
I agree. I think SMU has a beautiful campus, but they've done so much "infill" development in the green space, that it's not as pretty as it used to be.
