Oh please. Have you ever posed for a passport or driver's license photo where you are not allowed to smile? We all look crazy, mean and even on drugs for those photos.

You can smile.

She may not have known it was going to happen and doesn’t have a back-up plan on where to go.

Well, I guess she has a back up pan now - jail. Not sure what her kid will do in that situation. Poor child.

The kid has a father somewhere - off to him she goes.

Isn't her mom in jail? If she's in jail then someone else has temporary custody of the child, right?

Nope. They will interrogate them until one or the other gives enough information to find the body. I'm guessing the girlfriend will give it away to get a lighter sentence.

I hope the girlfriend cracks and tells the police what happened and where Jennifer is.

I bet they were going to try to flee the country.

Or no sentence?

The girlfriend of the Colorado dad #2 cleaned up a townhouse full of blood. Then came clean with the authorities almost two months after Kelsey Berreth went missing. She plead guilty to evidence tampering and her sentencing is suspended until the murder trial is concluded.

But the max she'll get is 3 years and honestly with the courts these days - 12 months in and the rest on house arrest.

You're probably right. Smh. I will never understand how murderers and their assistants get off scott-free while low level drug dealers rot in jail for life.
