There are about 4000 4-year colleges in the US. If you don't consider a school ranked in the top .7% of all schools in the US "top"...you are bad at math.

Why is it that everyone is universally praising Michigan, and acting as if it's not the least bid odd that she would choose it over Yale, and yet this same board often disparages UVA. UVA is ranked higher than Michigan.

Some of you seem to be frozen in time as 7th grade mean girls.
Choosing between these three schools is splitting hairs. Michigan has phenomenal resources and Ann Arbor is a great college town. Go Blue Sasha!

Plus it’s a public state school which is a very different experience than a top private.....not necessarily worse, but very different.
