No they haven't been arrested, just charged.
I read an article that said that Huffman was arrested and Laughlin agreed to surrender.
Oh what? WHERE
TMZ
lol - She's one hell of a DESPERATE housewife now . . .
https://www.tmz.com/2019/03/12/felicity-huffman-arrest-guns-drawn-fbi-college-bribery/
Felicity Huffman knew she was a target of the federal investigation into bribery in the college admissions process ... but she had no idea 7 feds would show up at her door Tuesday morning with guns drawn.
Sources familiar with the arrest tell TMZ, 7 FBI agents showed up at Felicity's Hollywood Hills home at 6 AM and drew their weapons as they ordered Felicity to come out and surrender.
Pulling guns on a female celebrity with no known criminal record or history of violence is crazy!

We know a dad who donated his building company for a new hall at the VA instate university that all of his (four) kids have been accepted to. He wasn't even embarrassed about it, and in fact, brings it up quite a bit! It's like he's proud of the fact that he bought his kids admissions. Unbelievable that this is allowed, but I guess if it benefits the school, they're not going to complain.![]()
Look- we have parents bribing our Principal with large donations at a PUBLIC elementary school. Thousands upon thousands over the years.
I know parents that bought their kid a place on travel soccer team through large club donations.
I know parents that donated large amount of $ to get their dumb kid into a DC top private school.
This shit happens all the time.
My Uncle donates a shitload to his college alma matter, has a building named after him and his daughters didn’t even apply there. Tax write offs.

Bribing for what? Admissions to a public elementary school?

Donations are ok, bribes are not. That's what separates new money from old, the wealthy from the merely rich.
At what point do donations = bribes?
A donation supports the mission of the university. A bribe does not.
The mission of granting mediocre students entrance who wouldn’t be admitted if their parents didn’t pay for that new building?

Maybe William Macy wasn’t acting in Fargo. He really is that dumb. Btw, is he throwing Felicity under the bus? Indictees day he was involved, but he has not been charged or arrested.
Lori L- dumb, just dumb. $500k for not even Harvard and for a kid that publicly states she doesn’t want to be there. Fake Crew recruit, come on!
These dumbshits deserve to go to jail.

Except she's from Long Island
Is it surprising given where she is from?
Long Island is a cesspool.
That said, I am/was? a LL fan. I read a quote from her daughter today that said she was never really into going to college anyway, so maybe LL felt this was the only way to get her into a good school. Am I justifying what she did/ is it right? Of course not. I got into an Ivy without connections/ bribes/ legacy and her kid could have too, if she had wanted.
Many kids are pushed into college by parents. Child sounds like very spoiled and self centered. There were plenty of good UC schools, no need to do this except parents probably care where kids go for their own status.
Anonymous wrote:In all the reporting about this, it's said that the kids "didn't know" their parents had bribed the colleges, etc. But how do they know that? Of course the kids are going to deny knowing about it.
At any rate, I guess it's completely on the parents as the kids, even if they did know about it, were probably minors at the time. I can't even believe there are parents who would do this.
