Uh Maret had one of the lowest tuition hikes this year and total is about $8-10k lower than most. US tuition is going from $44k to $46k.
It’s the Bisgaard(s) factor. You have to give a discount for the risk of the school tanking after they both presided over that spectacular crash and burn at Whittle.
I’m not sure you’re getting enough of a cut rate
I admit as a newly accepted family, the "Bisgaard factor" gives me pause, but we are otherwise very excited about the school. I hope he is able to continue the good things happening there.
Fair.

And Sidwell's jumped the shark in terms of tuition. $44k for a 4 year-old!
But people continue to pay because Chelsea Clinton, and the Obama girls attended......Foolish. At 44K, I would rather hire a well educated nanny to teach my kid how to eat play doh, and sling sand. Good grief. We are private, but private starts at 6th or 9th in terms of being worth anything over 20K. Your local catholic, Montessori, and (gasp) public is good enough at this age.—. My two cents ((Yeah I know come on all the Sidwell groupies)![]()

Me too. I literally was paying my nanny to teach through College. But then the kid got into SFS so I was like oh no?
SFS is cheaper than a nanny unless you’re exploring yours?
