Kate is such a liability to herself you WANT her to go back to Nathan just so she’ll sort-of behave. (I also have trouble suspending my disbelief that a mom of two small, small kids is banging multiple dudes like that).
But good LORD that Mike guy is a sight to behold. We need to bring back I’d Hit That Thursday just to post his pic all over it. Preferably one with all the tats. That is the best-looking man I have seen in quite a while.
Anne’s daughter skeeves me out, what a little sociopath. But Anne is nuts, too. I feel like she’s capable of getting it together and for whatever reason is not.
Jenny is reprehensible. Found myself calling her the C-word multiple times. I liked Ian’s storyline last season, was disappointed he kinda faded out a bit.
Frankie...meh. Her storylines seemed like such an afterthought. And how do you fall in love with someone and have no idea they’re a Jesus freak?
Val, though...more Val. Hysterical. That LSD episode![]()

But in s. 3 they all seemed a bit too flawed and a bit too unsympathetic. What was so great about Anne was she was kind of a shitty person, but a good shrink and a good friend. What was great about Kate was that she was loved her work and took no crap. What was great about Frankie was her boundless enthusiasm. In S. 3 all of these things just become personality disorders. I still love the show, but I'm left a little short.

Just all of it was so gross, I forced myself to watch the whole episode to see if it redeemed itself, which it didn’t. I’m done, I just can’t stomach it, so disgusting to watch.
Prude alert

Yes, it"s common. All about control as well as having your cake and eat it, too. A tale as old as time

Anonymous wrote:I was shocked that he was cheating on her by he has endured a lot of selfishness in her part. He did express frustration several times and she still pursued her own wishes. She had just promised him to talk before any big career moved and then she accepted a client with significant traveling without even talking to him. Again, no excuses for his cheating but her behavior has been so selfish.

I agree, she's completely self-absorbed like the other pp mentions links to her being blindsided by the affair.
I liked this show until I thought more about it, and realized that it makes all the women unlikable (except for potentially Frankie's ex), and all the men deserve sympathy. It's like it's Jenny's ex's screenplay, where the only good guy is the SAHD.
