It's not easy out there.

Also, deferred at JMU, Elon and U of Miami.
3.7 GPA is weighted.

Ooofff...this is 13:48.
Hate to ask, but can you tell us if you visited any or all of the campuses? No need for specifics...I know you don’t want to put your kid. Also can you tell if your kid is in public, private, or Catholic/Jewish school?

How are the school guidance counselors reacting? Are you getting any decent advise? I hope so!

OMG, this is nuts! Thank you for sharing and hope your kid is managing the disappointment in a healthy way.

To each his/her own but my view is there are thousands of kids with the same GPA who apply to similar schools and thousands of different people who view DCUM. The chance of identifying your DC is pretty remote. Even if someone did, who cares?

Congrats! This list is very similar to my daughter’s prospective list (she’s a junior). Would you mind posting the rest of your results when you get them?

Was 3.7 unweighted? Was there a weighted GPA?

Oof! Clemson?? Wow, it really is tough out there, so much tougher than in our day. Yikes!

I’m not the poster you’re responding to but I’ll tell you why I won’t share it all: our kids use the internet too and I don’t want mine to stumble across her scores and schools and realize mom shares this- even anonymously.
