I'd gladly pay another $12k in tax per year if we could get rid of the $1900/month we are paying for health insurance. We need a national health plan for all.

Not a meaningless statistic if you’re one of the people who really counts on getting that refund each year and figured you’d get it this year too because you did everything the same, only to discover you’re instead getting hit with a tax bill you don’t have the extra cash to pay.
