I will say, the city has come out within a day (or less!) each time I've requested rat abatement for my block, and the inspector even has called me when they arrived to say they were going to abate then confirmed the number of burrows treated afterwards.

It's the only city service I've had that kind of very fast and detailed response - so yes, 311 request for abatement! The city actually does respond well on this one!


DP to add, not sure how frequently they will treat the same block, but I've done 311 requests within 2 weeks of each other and they still came back.

Rats chew through industrial garbage cans! They’re nasty and are a huge problem in the suburbs too.
