Right, because people fled the public schools looking for privates that would open. Does this make you excited?

At least in a few weeks we will be in person! Woop woop!!!! Totally makes it worth it. Oh and we got a new chromebook that actually works this year!

Of course there are lots of new kids. The schools that are planning in-person got flooded with applicants and the schools can't say no to the $$.

Tomorrow is NOT the first day for the Big School. That implies K-8 will be on campus.

Aside from the modified schedule, we are looking forward to a great year.

What's the modified schedule?

I just wanted to give a shout out to the Congressional teachers and staff that might be reading this board... Remote learning via Google Meet is going way better than may of us expected and the teachers' willingness to engage one on one with kids struggling with an issue is just incredible. We have been very impressed with the first week of remote learning and are so grateful for all of the hard work the teachers are putting in to making this a success.

Congressional just announced a shift to Remote Teaching and Learning beginning next week until April 14. IMHO this is a wise move and puts the safety and health of the community first.

The kids are coming home with chromebooks and will be using GoogleMeet. Has anyone used it before?

You know, we might need a parental support group to keep us sane over the next month.

She does not work at FH and her place of employment is easily obtained if you Google her.

What is her position at Flint Hill?

The head left at the end of the year because her kid graduated out. She took a job at the school her kid was attending for high school. Not unusual in independent schools.
Janet Marsh left in October I believe, most definitely not at the end of the school year.

However, that is old news and the new Head of School appears to be doing a great job.

The other info is correct. Last I heard she was at Flint Hill.
