Bezos is going to be away from Seattle a lot more in the coming years. My guess is that she didn't want to go along for this ride. He will be jetting between Seattle-DC-NYC weekly. Plus, he spends a lot of time in LA working on entertainment deals. He's never home.


Amazon is all over the country and world, its not just DC-Seattle-NYC. Amazon is much bigger than prime and he owns other businesses like the post.

He probably is to the best of his ability but they guy probably works most of the time and isn't around much. He has multiple businesses, some global.

+1 She was one of the first employees of Amazon helping them get their accounting system off the ground. She's a Princeton grad. She's smart in her own right.
