Again the gouging prices you’re seeing are resale tickets. Greedy folks trying to make a dime.
I haven't done my research. So I'll just ask here - Is Michelle giving away the profits?
Practice what you preach, sister!
Yes, she should donate her $.
She’s not mother Teresa or Dr. Ruth. She needs to get over herself.!
No one is forcing people to purchase tickets (sell out) the Verizon center or whatever it’s called today. So not everyone thinks like you. Boo!

You haters make me laugh. Why is Michelle so threatening to you? Just don’t see her speak or buy her book. It is what we did with Sarah Palin.
Just let it go, guys. If she is not your cup of tea, she is not your cup of tea. End of discussion.
Sarah Palin was a Governor, after having been a Mayor.
Michelle is a lovely homemaker.
Oh geez. “A lovely homemaker” with a JD from a Harvard and impressive work history. Pp is right. You are embarrassing yourself.
She is clearly very bright but I don’t think she’s ever really accomplished anything of import so it isn’t clear to me why I should care about anything she has to say. I’d pay to hear her husband speak for sure....he is the one that actually achieved at a high level.
I disagree but I wasnt commenting on whether you feel it’s worth it to hear her speak. Saying she’s just a housewife is ridiculous and you know it. Comparing her to Sarah Palin is even more ridiculous.
I wasn’t the Palin/housewife poster but now I’m curious.....why are people going to see her speak? The events are obviously popular but I simply don’t understand the attraction.
Many people feel that she has an interesting life story and perspective, as a kid from the South Side of Chicago who went on to the Ivies, a legal career, and then the first AA FLOTUS married to the first AA POTUS. You don't find this interesting, and that's okay.
Michelle also always retained an air of grace and civility while she, her husband and children were being attacked. She is admirable.
They were attacked? Right.
Unlike the Clintons, The media fawned over the Obamas and the entertainment business never lampooned them. They had a pretty easy ride

And yet her book tour is selling out of tickets everywhere.![]()
b/c many Americans are too stupid to see they're being duped
just b/c "everyone's doing it" mentality
I bet you bought a fidget spinner for your kid, too.
This reminds me of all the hysteria to go see Hamilton. I mean people who never seemed interested in the arts or attended any concerts, decided they needed to travel to a different state in order to absolutely see Hamilton. I also know nannies/housekeepers with limited English who wanted to treat their significant ones to Hamilton by buying them tickets costing over $500 a piece.
Hamilton was amazing and not "hype" as you put it. You didn't get it but, nannies/housekeepers did. Just because you don't want to see it does not mean it isn't worthwhile experience.
