My DH is retired so I see him for breakfast, lunch and dinner usually. DS is in middle school and pretty much gone all day so I like the company.

Do you like your DH?

I TOTALLY AGREE.

it's his house, that he bought. it's his kid, that HE wants to see.

if i were him I'd be FURIOUS at you. you're terrible, and setting up a terrible dynamic for your child.


Think about all the DCUM posts about husbands who DON'T want to see their kids and don't have time to come home because they work too much... The ABSENT father's and this woman is complaining her husband comes home for lunch to see his kid????

Mine only stayed for 15/20 minutes, too. It was nice to see him. By the time he got home, lunch was made and he just sat down and ate with us.

So there's your solution: you're suddenly too tired (from dealing with an exhausted child who isn't able to nap because their father makes them live in an expensive shoebox so he's close enough to walk home every day "for lunch" to poop at home and then wakes up the child every day instead of respecting nap time) and so you can't make dinner, dinner is just a snack of leftovers. And break the coffee machine or forget to buy instant coffee next time you do grocery shopping.


He doesn't 'make them live' anywhere. If she wants to live close to her work, SHE SHOULD GET A JOB.

SAHMs are so entitled it's unfathomable.

OP here: This is so funny!! My husband does cook himself. I don't know how he eats the crap that he cooks. It makes the entire refrigerator smell bad. He also has coffee at work. I think I need to start doing nap a bit later. Thanks for helping me laugh though this. BTW, I interrupted him while he was reading tonight in bed to ask about Fridays pooping schedule. That was awkward.
