The Episcopalian liturgy is virtually word-for-word the Catholic liturgy before the most recent changes.
Cradle Catholic, now Episcopal--I found the Episcopal liturgy *incredibly* similar to what I grew up with. And there will be lots of former Catholics in the pews (and at the pulpit, if my church is at all typical).

"Outside the church there is no salvation. You will not be saved." unspoken: but if you are a good Catholic, receiving sacraments from pedophile priests and/or financially supporting an organization that protects them while not protecting their victims, then when you die, (assuming you are in a state of grace) you will go to heaven and live eternally, with God, Jesus and Mary and all the pedophile priests and people who protected them -- assuming they, too, were in a state of grace when they died.
Translation is fine, but message is wrong. Our Catechism teaches homosexuality is disordered. We must rid the priesthood of it. We need good Catholics to remain.

Anonymous wrote:Families have been systematically hiding this crime for years too! Our society ignored perversion for generations. No one wanted to invite shame. Reporting touchy feely “Uncle Larry” to the police would cause embarrassment to so many so you just shun him at family parties and don’t let your kids near him. Eventually he dies. And you’re left to just wonder if he did anything to the neighborhood kids or the little leaguers he coached or the paperboy down the street when no one was looking.
The Catholic Church acted like one big embarrassed family. It snowballed to the point that others like “Uncle Larry” we’re drawn in because the heard they could get away with it since the higher ups were increasing baffled as to how to cope with it while saving face. Too many people inside and outside lacked courage to insist on making things right. All those doctors who treated deviant priests and cleared them for more ministry. The world today is much more open and we are lucky for that. We are lucky we’ve grown as a society that we don’t see it as shame and can confront it.

The Catechism also teaches that all you need to do to get into heaven is confess your sins and say a good act of contrition. That puts you in a state of grace. The last rites would do the same.
