No family help and we eloped and my family did not pay for a wedding, but bought us a kitchen table.

25, right after we got married. A 2011 purchase of a condo off H street that paid off. We sold it for almost 2x what we paid for it 5 years later and now have a large, recently renovated row house in Petworth.
