This. These guys are leaving Express because they want to keep more of the money. Without Express and Bethesda, they had one of the worst clubs out there. They tried to push out the Bullis coach and now they are trying something else to make more money.

Making more money isn't a bad thing unless they aren't providing value. I saw an summer evening clinic at Bullis, maybe it was the prep camp - where there were like 50+ kids behind the goal working on 1v1s, not many reps for each player and I didn't see much coaching. What's covered - is this typical for prep camp?

It is odd. The Express Lacrosse website no longer has links for DC Express teams. Something must be up.

DC Express Facebook page was recently updated 3 days ago to share summer camp info (led by the Megils - email info@dcelax.com for questions) but their website "doesn't exist any more" - https://expresslacrosse.com/dc-boys.html. Reads like they are operating but may be changing the internet domain?

DCE and Madlax are the greediest guys in the game. They will eventually get kicked out by Bethesda.

What do you expect from guys who charge 200 for a tryout?

Not fake. The team's early success was due to reclass kids. Now teams have caught up to them.

Yes DCE is falling apart after the DCE 21 kids graduate.

The Bullis boardmember runs the team.

The Bethesda/Express/Performance trinity was never going to last. Those guys are too greedy to share money.

DCE dads are funny. DCE 2021 has been excellent because all their key guys are 20s who repeated a grade to become 21s. Not surprising that they didn't do so great this past fall.

They had an edge because of reclassification, but it is temporary. They are also nowhere near as talented as other recent Bullis classes.

The Bethesda/Bullis dad who tried to oust Bellistri is something else.

Bullis has a group of talented soph’s as well. I think the core of the the ‘21 DC Express team that dominated the summer tourney circuit last year. IL calls out Hughes and Kuehll as standouts.

you must be another DCE Dad
