I don’t know if I buy this.

I had many, many people die in my life. Lost parents in childhood and never had any sort of paranormal experience.

I've never been able to decide if this was paranormal or not. When we were 13-14 years old my friend and I were walking around our suburban neighborhood late on a summer night. Suddenly this guy comes running out from the back yard of a house and stops by the road, about 20 feet ahead of us, and just vomits. I turned to walk/run away but my friend grabbed my arm and said to him "oh my God, are you ok?" The guy said "I need a ride," then mumbled and vomited more, then said something like " oh shit, just go, you need to go," (that's what I heard) and kind of ran/limped across the street. Just as we turned to hurry off in the other direction, I heard a woman shriek something like "hey!" Or "wait!" and when I looked back towards where he'd vomited there was a dark figure standing there. It was weird because the street lights were bright enough that the vomiting man was visible, but this person was like a shadow. But I could tell she was facing us, but just standing very still. We ran super fast to my friend's house.

My friend insisted the guy had said "It's a ghost, it's a ghost," not "just go..." She also said that sometimes she could hear a woman screaming "wait! Don't leave me!" in a haunting voice late at night after that (The incident happened just half a block from her house, which backed up to a wooded area). She was always the type of person who liked to talk about ghosts and paranormal things, so I felt like she just hyped up our incident into something it wasn't. BUT, that shadow woman standing there still creeps me out when I think about it.

While visiting my dying grandfather, upon entering his room he looked up and exclaimed “what are you doing here!?” I asked him what he meant and he told me that he wasn’t expecting to see me in this place. I visited him almost every day and he had no history of dementia. I oriented him to where he was and he understood but kept insisting that I didn’t belong there. He said I didn’t know you were coming with me, and he kept saying how happy he was that I was with him. I almost think he was in between worlds, or in between earth and heaven.

I was with my grandmother when she died, she was so happy and exclaimed that "everyone was here" and started weeping while saying a greeting to her late husband and daughter. She passed away shortly after

I have been around a lot of death (I'm a nurse) and have had similar experiences with patients. The creepiest one though was the person screaming about the shadows waiting in the corners of the room and the dark figure sitting on the edge of the bed. She was genuinely terrified. I had nightmares from that.

I went to a college that was used during wartime as a make shift infirmary. We had a ghost we nicknamed "Bob" that lived in our dorms. He'd open doors, things would fall down, etc. Nothing creepy and no one ever saw an apparition or anything. It became a bit of a joke after a couple months where if we'd accidentally leave a door open or a light on we'd say "Ok Bob. Can you shut the door for me? " Of course he never did lol

I have deja vu all the time... assume it is some kind of seizure activity.

My only paranormal events have been random and kind of useless. The most vivid one is that, one morning near dawn, I dreamed that a small white dog was playing in my front yard. When I got up, I looked out the window and there he was, rolling on his back in my front yard. I’d never seen him before.

I have deja vu a lot and also have a vague distant memory of living in the country on a farm. It’s a feeling of deep serenity when I think of this. I feel like if I think hard enough I could remember more, but I never can, it’s all very vague and cloudy. It sounds loony and I can’t explain it.

I have no idea if "real" clairvoyants exist...but those of you asking for a psychic consult, please be cautious.

Many scam artists exploit people's grief and loneliness, charging them thousands and thousands of dollars for questionable "services."

Not referring to the PP's, but just reminding people to be cautious.

We just found out my cousin was pregnant with my first child. My mother then said to my aunt/her sister that "every family birth means a family death." My mother, who was in poor health, then died weeks later.

The only weird/unexplainable thing that happened to me (and I am a TOTAL skeptic) is that once my car was parked at a strip mall. When I came out of the store, I was very upset to see it had been hit. It was an awful time in my life for something like this to happen. I went into the store to use their phone to call the police (to report the hit and run accident). (This was in the days before cell phones). On the way in, I said prayers about it, which is not that common for me.

When I went back outside, my car was in the exact same place, but the damage was gone. And it had been considerable (a bashed in door, not a scratch.) I don't think I told anyone for years, because it sounded so crazy. I still can't explain it...but feel like God decided to just undo what had happened, because I had enough going on at that point. So he took that stress off my plate.

You know how some people are sort of "tapped in" and intuitive. I did a yoga teacher training with a woman like that. She was not woo-woo at all and her Catholic family was very freaked out by her becoming a yoga teacher but her kids were grown and she wanted to do something new. She was always very kind and intuitive and I liked her but didn't know her well at all.
I had to have surgery in the course of the training (a 6 month period) and the teacher told the class I was having surgery but didn't share the details of the date or time.
Anyway, at the prep for my surgery something happened and my heart stopped briefly and I fainted and had some sort of "event" as they called it. When they brought me back, I saw this woman in the room briefly. It was weird bc I barely knew her.
The next weekend I went to the yoga teacher training and she came over and said, "how was it, I meditated focused on you on Wednesday from 8:30-9" and that was the exact time I had the heart event and saw her.

Anonymous wrote:My grandmother had a pretty severe stroke resulting in dementia. She always had this far away look and talked about her children, well her three children were now in their 50s and 60s. The children she spoke vividly of were two children a boy and a girl, the boy being the older child. She described what the children looked like and what their personalities were like. Well, about two years after my grandmother's stroke I gave birth to a baby boy. My grandmother passed away when my son was 2 1/2 years old. A month after she passed I was pregnant with a baby girl. It is now about 5 years after her death and my two children are exactly how my grandmother described her two children. My son has the same shade of shiny silvery blond hair that she described, he loves to sing and my daughter is rambunctious and chatty with long blond hair....While she had dementia this is all she would talk about, her son and daughter, and how active they were. I talk with my mother about this and in a way I believe that my daughter is my grandmother reincarnated, or somehow in her confusion, my grandmother could predict the future.

My mother used to always say that the relatives who are already in heaven pick out the new babies that are born into the family.

When my child was born, my mother reminded me (not at all surprised) that it was the same date (but not the same year) that my father had died (i.e. went to heaven).

I used to have visitors I could feel but not see in my room at night. I never told anyone. One night my friend who is very intuitive slept over. As we were going to bed, I felt the presence but never said anything. She rolled over and said to me, “You feel that too, right?”

She taught me to ask the presence to go away at night. I would tell them to visit me during the day, because they were scaring me at night. Now I don’t feel it as much anymore but when I do I just ask them nicely to leave.

My mom who was dying in the hospital described to me the beautiful visions she was having. Mostly they were of gorgeous flowers hanging down from the ceiling, like she was in the most beautiful garden. They seemed so real to her and gave her comfort.
She was a gardener and I like to think she was seeing a preview of heaven.

I rented a house and landlady swung by and asked to put some furniture in garage. I said ok.

That night I heard from garage an elderly women’s voice saying over and over “let me out”. I went to garage and scared as he’ll was coming from dresser that was put there. I opened drawers one by one and it stopped.

The next day the neighbors tell me did you hear what happens. Turns out her elderly handicapped mother had a black out in condo she lived in by her self, the AC went off and so did her oxygen and lights, she tried to get out but was found on floor dead next to that dresser.

Anonymous wrote:4:34 PP here. Thanks you for your kind words. I was so touched by the sweet comments. It’s been a rough couple of days. Not sure if it’s quite paranormal but maybe my son did come back in my daughter.

I have a 10 month old... and I think that’s why it’s been a few difficult days. She is now older than he was here on earth. She was born exactly 9 months to the day he left us. What makes it really special is that we had a lot of trouble conceiving my twins (son is a twin) and went to another country for IVF. Our daughter came with zero intervention or planning. I look at her sometimes and wonder if part of him is in there and that’s why I haven’t seen signs. But I would hate to project that on her too. I love her and his twin with all my heart but wow, do we miss him too. I wonder what he would be like today. Thanks for listening.

Maybe God sent your daughter as a comfort but made her a girl so you would not compare too much with your son.

You have enough love for all of your children. And seem like a very loving, good mom.
