We're in our 30's and that's our frequency. Yes, we have young kids but that's just an easy excuse. I do wonder about what it will be in 20 years.

I'm 51, DH is 47. Married a decade, together for 11 years. 2 young children.

We were never well matched in terms of drive but I love him and married him anyway. In hindsight that was a mistake - though I love my kids and we'll never divorce. But we have a sexless marriage (maybe 1x/yr and that once is painful and bad), despite endless conversations, therapy, pleas, etc...

He's passive and lazy - which manifests in many ways but the most painful and damaging of which is sexual.

It's miserable. I have generally resigned myself (mostly) to the fact that an active happy sex life is something I enjoyed once but won't again. And I can bring myself to orgasm anytime I want so that's something...

I'm impressed by your counting skills which must require putting notches on a bed post. Regardless of your accuracy I can uderstand your spouses concern with the data. Of your 50 times last year how many times did she really enjoy it? If you don't know the answer....that's why you are not in the 100-150 times a year.


Why do you assume PP is a male? Why do you think he enjoyed the 40 to 50 times? Orgasm does not equal enjoyment.
