And yet, it IS an example of a breakfast that would stall my own weight loss. Everyone is different, but for my body if I ate oatmeal and bananas on the regular I would not be able to lose weight as effectively. There are better options.

Wait, even steel cut oatmeal is bad for you? I make my kids McCann's Irish steel cut oatmeal at least 3-4 days a week. No sugar added, just fresh fruit and organic milk. That's not good?
