I do not think DNC did any poor job. There are at least 10 or more qualified person I can think of. It is just that some people cannot see past Biden/Sanders. I believe Duckworth, Gillibrand, Ted Lieu, Warren, Booker, Kamala Harris, O'Malley, Cuomo, Blasio, Chris Murphey, Schiff, Tim Kaine, Eric Salwell Michelle Obama or Klobuchar would be a fine President.
With a couple of exceptions, this is a pretty sorry bunch of potential candidates - most are not electable.
The only ones I like and would be willing to vote for are shown in bold. I'd also vote for Mark Warner. I am not sure any of them- with the possible exception of Biden - could defeat Trump assuming the economy is doing well.
Michele Obama? What are her qualifications, being a first lady she got to watch her husband try to run the country? Why are you leaving Oprah out? She has more popular support than all of those weak candidates combined.
I think Michelle Obama is electable. Two factors must go into anyone we nominate: qualification and electability - and the latter is more important than the former.
Please lay out the first one, what are Michelle Obama's qualifications?

No way. Look at how many people voted for trump simply because they hated Hillary. we can’t risk this again. And I say this as someone who thinks Hillary would be a great president.
