Anyone want to talk about symbolism? I took the frequent fan shots to symbolize things that offer comfort but are dangerous if you get too close- like Adora.
Was Camille’s choice of a Volvo a craving for safety?
Camille’s hair was short at the time of her sister’s death, probably as rebellion and/or protection against her mother’s attention. Why did she grow it long after that?

did she go down for the girls’ murders? It wasn’t clear whether it was for crimes against her own daughters or the whole shebang. In any case, she pled not guilty. I don’t think she knew it was Amma, but no telling.
I understand how Amma was so messed up - with her mom having munchausens byproxy- it wouldn’t necessarily make someone a murder but for the purpose of the storyline one could argue it made Amma crazy/ dangerous. But that doesn’t give any reason for her friends to be murderers too.
I believe her friends were weak followers of Amma. They held the girls down while Amma did the actual killing.
Was her new friend at the end (the little black girl) shown in any of those quick post credits shots?
The first shot was of the new friend being attacked against a chain link fence.
What was written on the new girls hands at dinner?
Reminders like Call Mom, Text (someone), Read (book), Get Milk, etc.
I had such anxiety when Camille was sleeping with the boy - I knew the cops were on their way including Richard. Did that kill anyone else? I felt so so bad for him.
That was a really wrenching, well acted scene.
I’m so angry that Alan was clearly in on it or at least knew and didn’t do anything. That was obvious right? Or am I stretching?

Agree about the show leaving so many unanswered questions (im the PP who listed my various questions after the finale).
I think it’s supposed to add to the murkiness / drama/ mystery, but I just ended up feeling confused and left wondering- and not in a good way.

Why would the other two girls say anything and risk being sent to prison for years? Of course they would keep quiet- they helped murder those girls.

Amma and her henchgirls hung out there around the pool. They did it, or watched Amma do it, there and moved the body to the alley.
I believe that the girlfriend believed that the brother did it (she moved the bed to cover the blood) and only gave him up when the possibility of being quoted in newspaper Camille’s newspaper articles about the “mystery” murders dried up. She turned on him in order to be on tv.

I felt like the show left too many questions unanswered. Is the book better? I also felt like the ending was crap. It looked like there were a group of kids involved in the murders. They would never keep quiet about things.

That ending was even more abrupt than in the book! Yes, those were teeth in the "ivory floor." In the book, Amma's rollerskater friends also were in on the murders. I didn't pause the show to see what was happening in the flash montage though.

Freaky ending. Was the dollhouse floor made of teeth? similar to the elephant tusk floor in Adora's room?? Also, during the quick flash of Amma in the credits, it looked like there may have been another person in the scene - did she kill the girls with the help of her mother?

Well, you pretty much gave away that something happens with the dollhouse and that is revealing. Again, either just say what it is or don't say anything. But this, "well, it has something to do with [name detail]" and then say "but I don't want to spoil it!"
Do you honestly think that the dollhouse, which we see in EVERY episode, isn’t a significant plot piece? It’s not just a pretty prop. I think everyone else who has been watching has clued in on that.
I said nothing to “spoil” it for you. And I’ll ask again, tell me your theory on the dollhouse, since now you know.
I'm not the PP, but you're cool. I haven't read the book and don't know the ending. BUT there is clearly something there. The dollhouse, the floors, there are over-arching themes they pay attention to. I think the dollhouse is a replica of the real house and it's creepy. I don't know more, but telling me it;s a spoiler doesn't spoil it. Still need to wait til Sunday to tie it together!
