I can imagine why she might have lost a few lbs. this week but being a royal and all couldn't they have someone sew her into the dress today to make it fit better??

I am very happy Meghan choose a sleek, unadorned, style. It suits her perfectly. That's what I thought she should wear.
However! It does not seem to be properly fitted - perhaps she lost a little weight. The heavy fabric doesn't sit that well on her small frame - I would have gone with a lighter silk, perhaps weighing the ends. I am also not fond of the clash of different whites (shoes, dress and veil). I also wish she had not chosen such a delicate veil, or had a veil at all, because it is not in keeping with the dress.
But overall, a much better choice, for her, than anything with lace or ruffles.
I agree. The minimalist dress should have had a minimalist veil.

Her moms hat and suit was on point, great color, but her hair the braids! Her hair was not classy. Oh my why didn't someone style her hair or throw a wig on it????
Her braids looked great. Braids can be classy. Serena’s long braids were classy too.
Her hair is loced, not braided.
She looked beautiful and elegant, and unapologetically African American. Doria!

This. Why do people like PPP feel the need to even click on a thread if they have no interest in the topic?
I’m not sure where the line is but some of the posters sound like they are obsessed with minutiae. I thought that’s what the poster meant. -the level of details sometimes seems silly.
Anonymous wrote:Look closely at kate’s desss... it’s actually a sweetheart neckline and the lace is fitted over it like a top. It’s unbelievable! A feat of craftsmanship in English lace.

They are called freckles. Her childhood photos show those same age spots, as you like to call them.
This happens to everyone who has freckles. Everybody likes them and thinks they're cute when you're a kid, but you get to be over 35 or so and everyone starts referring to the very same marks on your face and body as age spots. It's crazy!
Another biracial black woman with freckles here. I used to dislike them, but I’ve grown to accept them. I get ‘em from my (black) mama.
